About Us

History

KKCT was started in Feb 2020 with an idea of providing Medical help to the needy and poor from a single platform through crowd funding so that the person in need does not need to go door to door for getting the required help.

The founder members initially started crowd funding amoung themselves and started helping the deserving people. First case which was taken by the group was of a little child with burns and the group was succesful in crowd funding an amount of 2 lakhs rupees amoung themselves and their respective contacts. (Alhamdullilah)

Slowly as more cases piled up the group started proper survey and then helping the needy. As days went by more people joined and proper whatsapp groups where formed for this. Shortly after initiating this work people faced the lockdown situation in month end of March 2020. During this period of pandemic, KKCT increased the scope of their work by providing food, food kits and other medical help especially in economically and socially backward areas of Surat irrespective of their faith or cultural background.

After working for few months during the pandemic the trust was officially registered in 17th September 2020. From there on it has progressed rapidly and expanded its activities to Educational Help, Widow Help, Marriage Help, Providing Livelihood Means etc in a very short period of time.

Introduction

KKCT was founded in 2020 with the goal of supporting people living in poverty irrespective of their faith and cultural backgroud and focuses on health, disaster, livelihood and other social responsibilities.

It fulfilles this objectives by providing relief, such as food and medical aid, to the needy and poor.

Establishing medical clinics in economically and socially backward areas. Implementing income genetration projects to help the unemployed.

Our Values

We remain guided by the values and teachings of the Qur’an and the prophetic example (Sunnah) and taking into consideration the advices of our elders and masaik.

In responding to poor and needy, our efforts are driven by sincerity to God and the need to fulfil our obligations to humanity regardles of their faith or cultural difference.

We believe the protection and well-being of every life is of paramount importance and we shall join with other humanitarian actors to act as one in responding to suffering brought on by various hardships and difficulties faced by people.

Trust (Amanat)

We uphold our duty of the trust people place in us as a humanitarian and development practitioner to be transparent and accountable.

KKCT visualizes a society in which peace, justice, and equality prevail and strives to build an community where all people have access to education, healthcare, employment, housing & sanitation and economic self-reliance Irrespective of barriers of religion, caste, creed, color, language and gender.

Our Mission

KKCT aims to rebuild the human dignity of the poor and marginalized through an empowerment process by providing aids in form of Education, Food, Health Care, Employment and create opportunities for a sustainable society.

The Trust aims to work with the economically and socially marginalised members of the community and help create a safer environment for all and to provide support and encouragement to help improve their living and social conditions, through education, health and care, essential infrastructure services and livelihood options, irrespective of their economic and social status. The support we have received from thousands of generous individuals has enable us to work on grassroots level.

Transparency

KKCT works under the guidance of scholars. Knowing that we are all ultimately accountable to the Almighty, KKCT strives to maintain transparency and accountability. All donated funds are monitored and reviewed to ensure Zakah, Sadaqah and Lillah funds are spent correctly. Each and every case handled by KKCT is personally cross checked and verified. Thus delivering a fair and accountable system of grant-giving, based on individual need and circumstances.
